Más de 5 mil de inglés y computación
Comunicado Ayuntamiento.
Tijuana, B. C. 14 de diciembre de 2009.- La Secretaría de Educación Pública Municipal (SEPM) entregará más de cinco mil libros de inglés y computación a niños estudiantes de primero a sexto año en las escuelas primarias municipales, con lo que se fortalece el compromiso del gobierno de la ciudad de mejorar la educación de las nuevas generaciones de tijuanenses.
Alma Rosa Sanz Hernández, encargada de Despacho de la SEPM, informó que con inversión de 917 mil pesos el gobierno del presidente municipal Jorge Ramos realizará la segunda entrega de libros de texto gratuito en lo que va de su administración.
Con estas acciones, señaló, se beneficiarán más de dos mil 500 niños que estudian en las escuelas primarias municipales y en donde se imparten las materias de inglés y computación.
Mencionó que esta entrega de libros de texto gratuito, dos mil 600 de inglés y dos mil 600 de computación, tendrá lugar en las instalaciones de la escuela primaria municipal "Carlos Villalvazo" el miércoles 16 de diciembre a la una y media de la tarde.
Será en este centro escolar, dijo Sanz Hernández, donde los coordinadores escolares recibirán sus ejemplares para distribuirlos con su población estudiantil. Se trata de material actualizado.
Para el gobierno de la ciudad es prioridad que los niños cuenten con las herramientas fundamentales para adquirir conocimientos determinantes en su formación, para ser hombres y mujeres de bien para Tijuana. Por esta razón continuarán presentes las acciones encaminadas a fortalecer los programas y equipamiento de las escuelas municipales.
